Budding authors and creative writers will be particularly interested in the following events at the Buckingham Literary Festival:
Judith Allnatt – Creating the Historical Novel (1pm Friday 1 July) will be talking about how to use history as an inspiration, challenge and opportunity for the writer;
Facing Up to Demons where Tim Lott (who teaches the ‘Writing a Novel’ 
six-month course at the Faber Academy) will be talking with his latest protegee (1.00 pM Saturday 2 July) and best selling author Sharon Bolton;
Will Gompertz, BBC Arts correspondent in his session on Think Like an Artist will be talking about the art of being creative (4.00pm Saturday 2 July)
