Fantastic weekend rounded off with a dose of the Bard

So BuckLitFest 2017 is over and what a weekend it was – almost 2000 people came to Buckingham to enjoy the pleasures of reading, writing, poetry, philosophy, drama, comedy and cartoons.  Quote of the weekend – ‘that’s the wrong question’.

Hope to see you next year and thank you to all our authors, speakers, visitors, friends, sponsors, partners, benefactors, patrons, volunteers, and audiences –  including those two mysterious cats!

Replacement Event Saturday 5.30

Chris Patten is unfortunately unable to attend BuckLitFest for medical reasons. For all ticket holders, we hope you will still join us as we have arranged for political biographer and commentator, Sir Anthony Seldon to interview the speaker of the House of Commons, The Rt Hon John Bercow at 5.30 on Saturday instead.  This will be an entertaining, enlivening and thought provoking discussion. All pre-bought tickets are of course valid for this event.

The organising team would like to apologise for the change and we would also like to wish Lord Patten a speedy recovery.
