It’s Gin O’clock
Introducing… the Buckingham Literary Festival Gin
No reservation required. 18+ only.
Hemingway liked his Martinis so cold it was difficult to hold the glass.
Fleming famously insisted his were shaken not stirred.
Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton reportedly repaired to the Ritz for Martinis after poetry class… and F Scott Fitzgerald’s Gatsby’s lavish parties flowed with copious quantities of gin.
Writing and alcohol has enjoyed a long, if sometimes inglorious, relationship so the opportunity to serve gin combined with bringing great authors to the town seemed the perfect cocktail to enhance the Buckingham Literary Festival experience.
We’ve created a special hand-crafted BuckLitFest gin. Produced in small batches by our friends at Wharf Distillery, our gin is not only a delicious tipple but every bottle bought helps raise funds to ensure the future of the LitFest as a community event.
