WHY SPONSOR?

The Buckingham Literary Festival is a not-for-profit organisation which seeks to benefit the community of Buckingham and the surrounding area by putting on entertaining and stimulating book-related events and attracting more visitors to the town.

The Festival is run entirely by volunteers, with funds raised through the sale of tickets to events and generous donations both by individuals and businesses in the community. We are also supported by Buckingham County Council and Aylesbury Vale District Council and by the University of Buckingham who have embraced the idea of the literary festival from the start.

But we can’t do it without you!

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

We have a range of sponsorship opportunities – large and small – and we’re always open to innovative partnership suggestions.

  • You might like to associate your company name with a particular author or event, earning the opportunity to have your name & logo displayed on the Festival website, in the printed programme, onscreen at the venue throughout the event – plus promotion materials in the venue and public acknowledgement by the event host, as well as receiving complimentary tickets for you to invite your clients along and an invitation to the exclusive Authors & Sponsors Party on Saturday night.
  • Perhaps you’d like to sponsor a venue for the whole of the Festival eg The Big Tent (audience capacity 250+) where some of the largest events will be taking place eg Jacqueline Wilson, Chris Patten and Roger McGough. Bold branding available here, as well as many of the benefits above.
  • Maybe, you’d like to help look after the many wonderful volunteer stewards, room managers and author escorts who work tirelessly to look after audience and authors. They need sustaining – with food and drink, as well as lots of ‘thank you’s! Your name on their T-shirts offers great visibility as they scoot round Buckingham.
  • Why not sponsor the Authors & Sponsors Party itself….?
  • And simply taking an Ad in the printed programme is a wonderful way of showing your support for the local community.
