Set up in 2015 by a small group of friends dedicated to their mission to bring something completely new to the beautiful market town of Buckingham, BuckLitFest continues to enthral and delight as it enters its eighth year. The festival team continues to work tirelessly to bring the festival to life, happily introducing a little fresh blood here and there.

Alison Cameron

Between a love of books and a literary family history linking her to a Charing Cross bookshop dating back to the 1920s, it was almost inevitable that Alison would slide into books after a career in the oil industry. Alison is the proud proprietor of the University of Buckingham Bookshop..

Chloe Woodhead

Chloe’s varied career that straddles the wine trade and educational governance has stood her in good stead for the challenges of directing Bucklitfest.

Christopher Woodhead

Christopher, having spent all his working career in publishing, is currently a trustee of various charities.

Flora Rees has more than twenty years’ experience in publishing, editing bestselling authors including Victoria Hislop and Alison Weir. She specialises in structural editing and manuscript assessment.

Very happy to be volunteering on the committee of the Buckingham Literary Festival.Β  I recently retired from the Librarianship at Stowe School and have worked as a librarian for more than 30 years establishing a love of reading in a school community, organising author events and a library for all the staff and students to enjoy.

Vivienne Wordley

Vivienne combines being Executive Director of a small arts charity, the Foundation for Australia & New Zealand Arts (FANZA), with offering a independent publishing and marketing consultancy. This follows a lifetime in the booktrade, most recently as founding Programme Director of the Emirates Literary Festival, and Commercial Director of Foyles.
